scaladev'12, Saint Petersburg
This Saturday I’ve been giving a short talk on load testing of MMO games, Akka 2.0, and performance analysis/monitoring of actor-based platforms at ScalaDev conference in the city of Saint Petersburg. Thanks to @digal, @CheatEx and JetBrains that have made it possible, doing a great job organizing the event that have gathered more than a hundred of functional types, and thanks to the types, themselves, for asking smart questions. I guess, none of the russian-speaking conferences on “alternative” JVM-languages, in the past, were attracting that much attention, which clearly means that interest to Scala is rapidly growing (attendance of the first Scala conference in Russia just a half a year ago was twice lower).
